Dr. Jane Philip completed her undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Biology in 2012, at Wayne State University (WSU). She went on to receive her medical degree from the WSU School of Medicine in 2016.
Dr. Philip pursued a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics (Med/Peds), allowing her to care for patients of every age. She completed her residency training at the Detroit Medical Center in 2020, and is dual board certified in both specialities. While undergoing medical training at WSU, she was involved in a number of volunteer medical organizations, as well as teaching and mentorship opportunities.
After graduation, Dr. Philip initially practiced Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in Michigan with Trinity Health. In 2023, she moved to practicing medicine in Windsor with her husband and has been with us since October 2024. She is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Paediatrics (Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry) and a staff pediatrician at Windsor Regional Hospital – Metropolitan campus.
Her areas of clinical interest are hyperlipidemia, hypertension (including resistant hypertension), and anemia.
In her free time, she enjoys being in nature (especially hiking and running), cooking/baking, and traveling with her husband.
